Union Street to be Closed for Construction

Union Street will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, Sept. 26.

There will be barriers at O’Fallon Street and West Terrace Street to designate the closed section of Union Street. Local residents will be able to access their driveways from West Terrace Street.

The Union Street Stormwater Project will replace the stormwater box culverts and utilities and construction will last about 90 days. After stormwater construction is finished, the road will be opened, but will be paved in April.
